FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield-based fashion designer Jennifer Butler will present her spring collection at the Fairfield Public Library’s Bruce S. Kershner Art Gallery at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 30.
The event, which is open to the public, serves as a fundraiser for the library’s programs and services. A suggested donation of $50 is encouraged. The Bruce S. Kershner Art Gallery is located at the library’s main branch at 1080 Old Post Road.
“Spring is here, and seeing Jennifer’s lovely and creative designs is a wonderful way to start the season,” said Michael Foley, president of the Friends of Fairfield Public Library. “The beautiful Bruce S. Kershner Art Gallery is the perfect setting.”
Butler, a board member of the Friends of Fairfield Public Library, has supported the library for more than a decade. Her biannual fashion shows have raised thousands of dollars, particularly benefiting the library’s Teen Department, where a plaque recognizes her contributions.
“The Fairfield Public Library is a crucial part of our community, and I’m grateful for the generosity people have shown at my shows over the years,” Butler said. “It’s a fun way to meet new friends, see old friends and support our library.”
The fashion show will feature local models wearing both day and evening wear, concluding with a traditional bridal look. Light refreshments will be served.
Those interested in attending can register at Fairfield Public Library’s website or by calling 203-256-3160.
