AND WE, YOU KNOW, GOING THROUGH THOSE ROUTES, YOU ALSO HAVE A FESTIVAL. WHAT CAN PEOPLE EXPECT THERE AS WELL? YOU KNOW, YOU GET TO SHOP AND EAT DOWNTOWN. EDMOND. YOU GET TO ENJOY A BOUNCE HOUSE. A LOT OF ACTIVITIES AND MUSIC. SO IT’S CALLED CELEBRATION 66. AND THIS EVENT, IT’S. GROWN OVER THE YEARS. MAYOR DAVIS, CAN YOU TALK ABOUT JUST HOW EXCITING IT IS FOR YOU TO SEE ALL OF THE GROWTH? OH, IT’S BEAUTIFUL. WONDERFUL. WHEN YOU LOOK AT A RIDE LIKE THIS AND LAST THE FIRST YEAR WE STARTED, WE HAD 500. LAST YEAR WE HAD OVER 800 CYCLISTS FROM OVER 11 DIFFERENT STATES IN THE UNITED STATES COMING. IT’S JUST WONDERFUL TO SEE EVERYONE COMING TO EDMOND, COMING TO OKLAHOMA, CELEBRATING CYCLE 66 IN A VERY HEALTHY WAY. YEAH, HEALTHY AND ACTIVE LIFESTYLE. SO, JENNIFER, THAT’S THE GOAL BEHIND THIS WHOLE EVENT. TALK A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT THAT. IT IS. AND I DON’T WANT TO FORGET THAT WE’RE CELEBRATING ROUTE 66 AND EDMOND HAS 13.4 MILES ON ROUTE 66 AND SAFETY. SO CYCLISTS GET TO RIDE ROUTE 66 SAFELY BECAUSE WE HAVE POLICE SUPPORT THE WHOLE WAY.
