The EZ-60, scheduled for launch in China in 2025, adds to Mazda’s electric vehicle offerings in the Chinese market. It follows the MAZDA EZ-6, which debuted the previous year under the theme “Yu Dian Xin Jing.”

The Mazda EZ-60 will be offered in battery electric vehicle (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variants. The BEV model is expected to have a driving range of approximately 600 kilometres, while the PHEV is projected to exceed 1,000 kilometres per refuelling, based on CLTC standards.

Key design elements include a modern exterior profile shaped by aerodynamic enhancements such as integrated air passageways. The vehicle adopts a rear-wheel-drive layout and targets a weight distribution of 50:50 for the PHEV and 47:53 for the BEV.
