The Frontier Pro is Nissan’s first electrified pickup truck and plug-in hybrid model. Co-developed with Zhengzhou Nissan, the vehicle combines a 1.5L turbocharged engine with a high-output electric motor, producing more than 300 kilowatts (402 hp) of power and 800 newton-metres (590 lb-ft) of torque. The system offers up to 135 kilometres of EV-only range.

All Frontier Pro variants come equipped with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, a 5-link rear suspension, and a selectable drive mode system that includes Hybrid, Pure Electric, Performance, and Snow modes. An electromechanical rear differential lock enhances off-road performance.

Interior amenities include a panoramic roof, a 14.6-inch infotainment display, heated and ventilated seats with massage functions, and a vehicle-to-load (V2L) power outlet capable of delivering up to 6 kw. The truck’s “Rugged Tech” design integrates visual cues inspired by the 1980s Nissan D21 Hardbody, including a lighting signature that references its distinctive hood vents.

Alongside the pickup, Nissan also introduced the all-new Dongfeng Nissan N7 sedan. The all-electric model features a low drag coefficient of 0.208 and is available with two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options: 58 kWh for 510 km of range and 73 kWh for up to 635 km. All variants use a single front-mounted motor delivering between 160 and 200 kilowatts (215 and 268 hp) of power and 305 newton-metres (225 lb-ft) of torque.

The N7 supports DC fast-charging capabilities, achieving a 10–80% state-of-charge in 19 minutes and 30–80% in as little as 14 minutes. The vehicle includes an advanced driver assistance system co-developed with Chinese technology company Momenta. The system facilitates autonomous lane changes, merges, turns, and automated parking in highway and urban settings.

Inside, the N7 offers adaptive seating with an AI-based posture system, a 15.6-inch 2.5K central screen, and optional 14-speaker audio with retractable dashboard units.
As of this writing, no word on whether North America is part of the “global markets.”
