According to Hannah Waddingham’s character in the film’s trailer, the purpose of a stuntman is to go unnoticed. Regrettably, Ryan Gosling’s stuntman persona in the film begins to draw unwanted attention.

Ryan Gosling appears on set as a filmmaker for Emily Blunt, who plays Gosling’s former flame, in the first teaser for The Fall Guy. The film’s principal actor, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, goes missing, putting the entire production in peril. To retake Blunt’s position, Gosling’s stuntman sets out to discover the missing action star for whom he is doubling.

Former stuntman David Leitch is the director of Bullet Train, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. The film is based on the same-named 1980s television series.

Drew Pearce, a seasoned genre writer, wrote the scenario for the picture, which stars Stephanie Hsu and Winston Duke. Leithc collaborated on the project with 87North’s Kelly McCormick. Guymon Casady and Gosling of Entertainment 360 co-produced the film with Gosling.

Gosling, Blunt, and Leach revealed the first clip on stage at CinemaCon in April.

Gosling went on to say: “In most films, the actors get all the credit, but the stunt performers do all the work, and that ends today.
