Louisiana teen John Foster survived another round of cuts on ‘American Idol’ Sunday night and surely gave voters something to talk about.
With a performance of Bonnie Raitt’s classic hit “Something to Talk About,” the Addis 18-year-old advanced to the top 8 of the singing competition.

Sporting a signature cowboy hat and toting his guitar, Foster looked comfortable on stage as he belted the tune and interacted with the crowd. Multiple family members and fans waved signs with his name on them.
Foster had judge Carrie Underwood singing along and Luke Bryan grinning from ear to ear.
