Like most college girls, much of my brain is consumed by trending topics in the media like Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold from “Dancing with the Stars,” college football scores and the Joe Jonas Sophie Turner divorce drama. Each night, I spend my time before bed trying to keep up to date on all the trending celebrities and their current dramas.

However, the most popular on my social media seems to be Taylor Swift. Whether it be Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, the newly released “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Movie” or conspiracy theories about “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” and all her other albums, she is popular in the media.

For a while, Taylor Swift has held a significant place in many daily social media feeds. Most people either love her or hate her. Personally, I think Taylor Swift and her entire public relations team do an excellent job of appealing to an audience in and outside of the media.

Over the past few years, time and time again, Taylor Swift has created trends in the media and left people wanting more information about her. Anytime I open any of my social media apps and something related to Taylor Swift appears on my screen, I immediately become enthralled with whatever I am viewing. I see theories about when “Reputation (Taylor`s Version)” will come out, if Taylor Swift is getting another cat soon and everything Travis Kelce-related. Honestly, at this point, anytime I open my social media platforms, I want to see more information about Taylor Swift and the current state of her life.

I like to think of myself as a big Taylor Swift fan, and with the media constantly circulating Taylor Swift, it is easy to keep up with her ever-changing life. A few months ago, when Taylor and her now ex-boyfriend, Joe, broke up, many fans voiced their frustration online.

Most recently, many fans have suspected that Travis Kelce, a Kansas City Chiefs tight end, and Taylor Swift are now together. After Taylor Swift attended a Kansas City Chiefs game on September 24, the media continued to root for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as a couple. Even though Taylor Swift seems to continue to make her career more successful, one of the most popular trends is her potential new boyfriend.

Like many other Swifties, I have my take on the matter. Although it seems a bit soon for Taylor to be in a relationship again after Joe, we, as fans, do not know when they broke up. This blooming relationship is a new take for Taylor and a fresh, healthy start. However, while it is a known fact that Taylor Swift does not like when her fans over-speculate about her love life, she has not kept this relationship as concealed as she has with her past relationships.

In the past, many fans, sometimes myself included, speculated that her boyfriends had a challenging time with how famous and in-the-public-eye Taylor is. After seeing Taylor and Travis leave the Chiefs game and listening to the “New Heights” podcast hosted by brothers Jason and Travis Kelce, it seems as if he loves the life Taylor lives. Hopefully, this time, he is all in for this new chapter with her.

Even though many people were super interested in the drama between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, which is a whole other story, nothing compares to the theories centered around Taylor Swift and her new love interest.

All of us fans only want the best for Taylor Swift and for her to be in a healthy relationship that fulfills her to the fullest! Similarly, all of us fans hope to continue to see Taylor Swift taking over not only the music industry but most of our social media as well.

If all continues to go well, as a fan, all I can hope for is another record-breaking album out of this chapter of her life.
