
BOONVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A multi-million dollar economic announcement has been made in Boonville.
Mayor Charlie Wyatt tells us it is a privately owned $74 million economic development for the city.
He says the “The Edge” Development will include a 140 room hotel, convention center, retails stores, restaurants condos for 65+ and veterans.
Mayor Wyatt says it will also include an entertainment district with a bowling alley, mini golf, ax throwing and more.
He says it will create more than 200 construction jobs and 100 permanent jobs.
Construction is set to start at the end of 2024 and be complete in 2026.
