Moran, Remington added to museum


More than a dozen paintings and works on paper by 19th-century American masters have recently been donated to the National Museum of Wildlife Art. This remarkable gift, from an anonymous private collector, includes major pieces by renowned artists such as Frederic Remington, Thomas Moran, George Catlin and Seth Eastman.

Museum staff admitted to being bowled over by the generosity of the gift.
