The actor went to the festival to see the first showing of his movie Jeanne du Barry, which got a seven-minute standing applause. Due to his defamation case against his ex-wife, star Amber Heard, many people didn’t like the fact that he was invited to the event.

People noticed the actor’s teeth turning brown and showing signs of decay when he posed for the cameras.

The senior actor just signed a $20 million deal with Dior, but it looks like he has decided not to get veneers or composite bonding like many other celebrities do.

“Every time I see a picture of Johnny Depp at Cannes, I feel very, very, very inspired to brush my teeth, floss, and use a tongue scraper,” one user wrote.

“@Dior Johnny Depp needs to see a doctor. He looks sick because of his teeth,” wrote someone else.

Others defended him by writing things like, “Johnny Depp doesn’t need fake ultra-white teeth if he doesn’t want them. I’ve also seen a lot worse.”
