NORTH WILKESBORO — Wilkes Art Gallery is calling for artists to participate in “Minute: A Miniature Art Exhibition” that will feature in the Hayes Hall Gallery alongside the 46th Annual Northwest Artists’ Exhibition in the Main Gallery. These exhibitions will be on display from July 18 to Aug. 27, with an opening night reception on July 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

For Minute, the Gallery is calling for artists of all ages to participate. Buy a 4 inch by 4 inch stretched canvas from the Gallery (or provide your own), create a miniature masterpiece in your preferred medium, and submit it into the exhibition on July 8 or July 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The prospectus is available at the Gallery and on the Wilkes Art Gallery website. This packet provides all guidelines and mandatory paperwork needed to participate. It costs $13 for the stretched canvas and entry fee combined. Anyone that submits their stretched canvas can register for $10. There is a maximum of four submissions per artist.
