Chick-fil-A Just Revealed When The Peach Milkshake Will Be Back In Restaurants

Summers in the South simply require that we eat peaches in all forms, all the time—cobblers, pies, ice cream, sonkers, and more. But perhaps no beverage is as beloved during summer months as Chick-fil-A’s peach milkshake.

For 16 years, fans of the Georgia-based restaurant have been sipping on the cool and creamy treat from the first moment it hits the menu until the final stone fruit is plucked and blended.

“There’s something about the Peach Milkshake that really feels like the start of summer, and for 16 years our Guests have expected—and anticipated—its return,” Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A, said in a statement provided to Southern Living.

With today’s announcement, fans won’t have to wait much longer. That’s because the milkshake will be back on menus beginning June 9.

The peach milkshake was first introduced in 2009. It was developed in the Chick-fil-A kitchens by Culinary Lead Angel Canada, who used her grandmother’s homemade peach ice cream recipe as inspiration. More than a decade and a half later, the milkshake is still hand-spun with peaches, Icedream frozen dessert, and finished off with whipped cream and a cherry.

Along with the peach milkshake, a brand-new Peach Frosted Lemonade will also be on the summer menu for the first time. Both drinks are available for a limited time, so enjoy one as (and as often as) soon as you can or risk missing out entirely.
