Some restaurants add a few farm fresh vegetables to their dishes and call them seasonal, but one Connecticut restaurant is adding something more.
It’s lobster, a spokesperson for the restaurant said.
Margaritas Mexican Restaurant in East Hartford has debuted a summer menu that infuses lobster into various signature recipes.
The restaurant’s menu of elevated Mexican appetizers with lobster includes lobster queso topped with charred corn, jalapeños, scallions and sauteed lobster; a lobster quesadilla stuffed with lobster meat, Monterey Jack-cheddar blend, charred jalapeños and scallions finished with fresh cilantro and tomatoes, served with avocado crema, sour cream and salsa macha.

Also, lobster street nachos piled high with lobster, fresh tomatoes, garlic, a Monterey Jack-cheddar blend, charred jalapeños and scallions.

For entrees options include lobster roll with charred corn, jalapeños, scallions and Tajin aioli, spritzed with lime zest and served atop a bed of shredded lettuce with avocado crema; lobster tacos shelled in masa-dusted flour tortillas with avocado crema, charred jalapeños, scallions, lettuce and chili-lime lobster meat with house made salsa macha; lobster salad with fresh spinach, pepitas, charred corn, pickled onions, queso fresco, sliced avocado; fried tortilla strips tossed in a chili-lime vinaigrette and topped with fresh lobster.
