Arts & Education at the Hoyt opens the 52nd Regional Juried Exhibition this week. The annual competition draws talent from across the region, and this year’s selection process was especially challenging for juror, Dr. Henry Adams.

“It was an honor to serve as juror for the Hoyt Regional – a task that presented practical and philosophical challenges,” Adams said. “On the practical side, space was limited. On the philosophical side, there was a great range of works – realistic and abstract, funky and traditional, highly original and less so.”
