GALENA, Ill. — Classic guitarist Marcus DeJesus will perform a free concert, “Eco das Cordas: The Soul of Brazil in Choros and Canções,” at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at Galena Center for the Arts, 971 Gear St.

The Brazilian-born DeJesus lives in the tri-state area and is a professor of general music and guitar at Clarke University and Divine Word College.
