Wilsonville celebrates Diá de los Muertos at new high school performing arts center

Wilsonville High School’s new Performing Arts Center transformed the night of Wednesday, Nov. 1 for the community celebration of Diá de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead.

On the steps leading to the arts wing was a three-tiered altar, or ofrenda, honoring lost loved ones in the community. The WHS arts department filled the space with student work depicting marigold flowers, skulls and traditional Mexican designs.
