Set your alarms a little earlier than usual this Friday: It’s imperative that you wake up in time for National Donut Day.
June 6 is the official day, and donut shops across the metroplex are offering deals on the sugary treats we all love.
We’ve compiled a list of local and not-so-local shops that are handing out Donut Day deals — just make sure you wear your loose-fitting pants and have a pint of milk on hand to wash them down.

Buy any regular priced item and get a Carnival Layered Doughnut for only $1, in store only. Also, take $5 off any orders of a dozen doughnuts — in shop or online.
Peace, Love and Little Donuts

This Southlake staple is open for business as usual on National Donut Day. Make sure you stop in and see what everyone is talking about, including the Apple Pie Donut, the Blueberry Pancake Donut and the Fruity Pebbles Donut.
Dunkin’ Donuts
2255 W. Southlake Blvd.
Buy any beverage at Dunkin’ on Friday and get a free donut. It’s as simple as that.
Krispy Kreme
3605 Ira E. Woods, Grapevine
Grab a free donut on Friday, no strings attached. If you do feel like spending money, though, the chain is also offering a dozen original glazed donuts for only $2 if you buy another dozen at regular price.
Shipley Do-Nuts
4605 Colleyville Blvd.
So serious is Shipley when it comes to donuts, it’s giving out free treats for the entire month of June. Starting on the 6th, get a free glazed donut with any purchase. Other deals will be available on June 13, 20 and 27, too!

The Salty is offering a maple French toast donut on National Donut Day only. This treat will not be available after June 6!
Mochio Mochi

The popular Japanese-inspired donut shop is offering $25 dozens, down from its typical $29.95.
