Jazz, blues and Woodstock at Morristown festival
There was plenty of hot music, as usual, at the 2019 annual Morristown Jazz and Blues Festival.
- The 18th annual Halifax Music Festival will take place in Petersburg, Virginia from June 6-8.
- The free event will feature live music, food vendors and other vendors.
- The festival will be held at the Halifax Triangle in the Downtown Historic Commercial District.
- Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs but outside food and coolers are prohibited.
Grab a lawn chair and your appetite to attend the 2025 Halifax Music Festival. Petersburgers and music lovers have been jamming at the historic Halifax Triangle aka the “Avenue” for decades. This will be the 18th year for the largest block party in the ‘Burg.
The outdoor jazz festival will feature a star-studded cast of musicians, food and vendors. Beer and wine will be onsite in the spirits garden.
The free community event takes place June 6-8 along the Downtown Historic Commercial District, once a robust and thriving center of Black cultural, social and economic life. Halifax Triangle is formed by the three intersecting streets: Harrison Street on the east, Halifax Street on the west and South Avenue on the south.
