It’s time for Yahoo! Finance’s Market Minute. Amazon shares popping over 2% on the news of President Trump and China’s Xi Jinping speaking this morning, Trump saying it was a quote “very good call” that was focused on trade. Amazon of course sells a lot of products sourced in China. And silver is surging to its highest level in 13 years as investors seek safety in other precious metals outside of gold. Silver is catching up to the big moves that we’ve seen in gold this year, the white metal bolstered by significant inflows into silver backed ETFs, according to Bloomberg data. And Applied Digital extending its rally, closing higher by 29% Wednesday. The initial jump coming after the company announced a $7 billion deal with CoreWeave to build AI infrastructure.
