Women’s Tennis Wraps Up Second Day of Auburn Fall Invite


AUBURN, Ala. – Ole Miss women’s tennis concludes the second day of the Auburn Fall Invite. For the second day in a row, the Rebels tallied a doubles win and two singles victories.
 
The day got started with singles plays in the morning. Rachel Krzyzak remains perfect in singles at Auburn. The junior defeated Maeve Thornton in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 for her fourth win in her last five matches. Emma Kette returned to the win column, taking down Furman’s Eleanor Schulson, 6-3, 6-4.
 
Krzyzak kept her momentum from singles for doubles, pairing with Reka Zadori in a 7-5 win over Karolina Jacobson and Rosie Garcia Gross. 
  
The Rebels finish the last day of their fall slate on Sunday, starting with doubles at noon CT.
