Unloved by her outrageous parents and tormented by the tyrannical headmistress Miss Trunchbull, Matilda finds hope and kindness in her gentle teacher, Miss Honey. Together with her fellow “revolting children,” Matilda leads a joyous rebellion that shows brains and bravery can outwit even the cruelest adults.
