SAN ANTONIO – Two people are now hospitalized after they were hit by a vehicle while crossing the street on the west side of town.

The incident happened on 36th Street at around 9:26 p.m.

Police say that a man and a woman were walking the street when a car hit them. The woman is in critical condition and the man is going to be ok.

The driver of the vehicle did stop to render aid. Police say he was not intoxicated and didn’t look like he was driving very fast.

No charges were filed at this time.
