
The San Diego County offers a wide range of attractions and activities every year, from carnival games and rides, to concerts and new foods to sample.
Beyond the typical county fair staples, there are also various shows and festivals celebrating culture, music and people. Here’s a guide to six cultural and art-based events happening at the 2025 San Diego County Fair, listed in chronological order.
Asian & Pacific Islander Festival: Dancing, music and martial arts are all on display at the Asian and Pacific Islander Festival. The event features a full day of various acts and performances celebrating cultures from Vietnam, Philippines, Japan, China and other Asian and Pacific Island nations. Some of these performers include the Japanese percussion band San Diego Taiko and the Hiva Katoa Polynesian Dance Studio. The festival takes place at the Chevrolet Paddock Stage and runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 14.
Native American Heritage Day: Indigenous people will be honored and celebrated at the Native American Heritage Day. The nine-hour event showcases indigenous culture with bird dancing, bird singing, a ceremonial flag raising and a blessing led by Jesse Pinto. There will also be Native American vendors selling goods and services. This event occurs at the Del Mar Arena from 11 a.m. to 8 pm. on June 21.
Out at the Fair: Embracing diversity and bringing people together is the backdrop of Out at the Fair. This all-day event celebrates the LGBTQ+ community with an array of activities. These include live music, dancers, games and food. Out at the Fair is open to all ages and is organized to support love and acceptance. It happens at the Chevrolet Paddock Stage from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 21.
Gospel Day: A full day of singing and uplifting words awaits fair guests at the 19th annual Gospel Day. More than 10 acts will take the stage. Some of these singers and groups include Trevone Perry, FM2 & Intentional, Higher Authority and David Daughtry. The musical performances start at 11 a.m. and go until 5 p.m. on June 28 at the Chevrolet Paddock Stage.
K-Pop Festival: Korean pop music and culture are headlining the Chevrolet Paddock Stage. The K-Pop Festival will feature DJs, live music, interactive activities and dance performances. It kicks off with DJ Alvin Fabuloso at 11 a.m. and is followed by various dance performances from crews such as the San Diego Korean Pungmul Institute. DJ Dwin caps the festival, which ends at 5 p.m.
Bluegrass Music Day: A mix of singers and bands will play string instruments and showcase their talent at the Bluegrass Music Day. The Michelob ULTRA Avenue Stage will host seven live music performances from artists such as Muddy Mountain West, Sunnyside Strings and Gone Tomorrow. The Bluegrass music begins at 11 a.m. and goes until 5 p.m. on July 5.
