ABIQUIÚ, N.M. — Former Maryville resident Lana Cease, who is now based in Florida, has been selected for the Estudio Corazón Residency at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiú, New Mexico, the late-life home of world-renowned artist Georgia O’Keeffe.

“This is a dream come true,” Cease said in a statement. “Ghost Ranch has long inspired me as an artist. It’s an honor to work in the same landscape that influenced Georgia O’Keeffe, who remains one of my personal artistic heroes.”
