SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. — The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is doing their part to help families for the holidays.

The sheriff’s office is hosting their “Fill the Truck Food Drive Event” with FoodRaising Friends, Inc. on Sunday.

Deputies are asking people to donate non-perishable food items to those in need this Thanksgiving.

The sheriff’s office will be collecting food at the Walmart in Pace — 4965 U.S. 90 — from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Their goal is to fill up their swat vehicle the “Bearcat” with these items.

“Your support can make a real difference in the lives of those in need. Let’s come together to help fill the Bearcat with love and compassion.”
