PINE BLUFF, Wis. (WKOW) — An eclectic collection of vintage cars roared onto the scene at the Morgan’s Bar and Grill Car Show on Saturday.
The show was free to visitors and offered the chance to see a rare DeLorean featured at the event.
The car was found by Mike McElhatten, owner of DeLorean-Midwest, and his partner, Kevin Thomas, who discovered the car in a Wisconsin barn.
The DeLorean stood out for its low mileage; one of the few models left with under a thousand miles under its hood.
The car show featured about 7-10 DeLoreans in total, amidst other kinds of cars.
One DeLorean owner, Ross Baker, shared why he thinks the Madison area is a great place for car shows.
“The drive here is beautiful,” he said. “Coming over some of these hills; you got lakes, farm fields … it’s just a real nice place to drive.”
Baker also discussed his personal experience as a DeLorean owner.
“It is a fun car,” he said. “You get a lot of smiles, a lot of waves on the freeway … I think it’s a great car to own.”
