Browns at Ravens preview: 3 things to know as Browns travel to Baltimore

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns got back on the winning track on Sunday when they blanked the Cardinals, 27-0.

With their quarterback on the field once again in Deshaun Watson, the Browns travel to Baltimore in Week 10 to take on the Ravens for the second and last time of the regular season. The Ravens won the initial matchup in Cleveland in Week 4, 28-3, as Dorian Thompson-Robinson started at quarterback for the Browns.

The Ravens are atop the AFC North at 7-2 and are coming off an impressive 37-3 rout of the Seahawks.

Here are three things to know about the Ravens as they get ready to meet for the second time this season.

1. They may be the hottest team in football right now

Ever since the Ravens coughed up a sure win in Pittsburgh against the Steelers in Week 5, they’ve become the team that no one wants to face, especially if you’re an NFC team.

The Ravens have won four games in a row, with the closest margin being a seven-point win at Arizona in Week 8. They’ve outscored their last four opponents, 130-49.

Their biggest wins came against two teams who will likely make the playoffs in the Lions and Seahawks.

Whether it’s at home or on the road, the Ravens are playing dominant football these days. That’s why even though the AFC North is the best division in football right now, Baltimore is in great position to win the division.

2. Baltimore is much healthier than it was in Week 4

The Ravens are in a far better place when it comes to health than they were when they came to Cleveland earlier this season. Their injured reserve doesn’t have a lot of names on it with the most notable being linebacker David Ojabo (ankle) and running back JK Dobbins, who suffered a season-ending torn Achilles in Week 1.

They also didn’t have many notable players on the inactive list for Sunday’s game vs. the Seahawks. Tackle Morgan Moses and safety Marcus Williams were the most notable names.

Among the stars that have come back for the Ravens in recent weeks are left tackle Ronnie Stanley and cornerback Marlon Humphrey. They also didn’t have former Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. available when they played in Cleveland earlier this season.

It’s no coincidence that the Ravens’ hot streak has happened as they finally started getting healthy.

3. Geno Stone is blossoming into an elite ballhawk

Baltimore’s defense has been all about getting sacks and tremendous play in the front seven. But their secondary features a secret weapon in safety Geno Stone.

The former Iowa Hawkeye came into Sunday leading the NFL in interceptions with five.

Stone added to his league lead by picking off Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith for his sixth INT of the year. His name doesn’t get talked about much when you look at the Ravens because they have dynamic safeties in Williams and Kyle Hamilton.

However, Stone might no longer be obscure. His play this season won’t let that happen.
