LAS VEGAS – The journey to repeat for LSU women’s basketball starts now.
Ranked preseason No. 1 for the first time in program history, the Tigers take on No. 20 Colorado at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as part of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Classic Monday night (6:30 p.m., TNT).
Kim Mulkey will take the court with one of the deepest rosters she’s had in her coaching career, headlined by star Angel Reese and sophomore sensation Flau’jae Johnson along with standout newcomers Hailey Van Lith and Aneesah Morrow.
It’ll be the first look at LSU’s new stacked roster and it’ll be a strong first test as the Buffs are coming off a Sweet Sixteen run and return plenty of standouts from last season’s team.
