Mira Rajput hosted an intimate Diwali party at her home earlier this week and invited her close friends for the do. The diva, who is married to Shahid Kapoor, took to Instagram to share pictures of her home beautifully decorated for the festive get-together.

Mira, an ardent home decor enthusiast, loves decking up her home with fresh flowers and contemporary artefacts. Every nook and corner of their new Juhu home, as seen in the photos the couple often shares, is a visual delight and hints at Mira’s interest in home decor.

For the Diwali get-together, she gave her home a festive makeover with a hint of lush greens and blooming flowers. She kept the theme rather traditional, and added brass/copper diya stands and containers. Red-coloured celosia flowers added a pop of contrast to the ambience.

Flowers such as mogras and rajnigandha were also intricately used, while lush green installations added a vibrant touch to the at-home Diwali decorations. Mira roped in the team of Doh Re Mi Co to get the decor done.
