Diwali is just around the corner. We’ve seen a slew of gadgets hit the scene over the past few weeks. From foldable smartphones to tabs. Apple has just unveiled a new MacBook Pro and Mac that are powered by its formidable M3 chip. We’ve also witnessed new launches in the TV space, including the debut of LG’s massive 97-inch, 4K OLED TV. BenQ took the wraps off an innovative screen bar that adds eye comfort to workspaces and home offices (many of us still work in hybrid work environments), while OPPO launched a solid mid-market smartphone. MacBook Pro

OPPO A79 5G

OPPO’s new sub Rs 20K, 5G-ready smartphone feels good in your hand. It weighs just over 190 gm and is under 8mm thin. This despite a large, 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This immersive display is packed by OPPO’s Ultra Volume mode that exceeds the 100 per cent volume level to reach up to 300 per cent for speakers. We’re also relieved to see a 3.5mm headphone port for wired sound. The camera set includes a 50MP AI camera. The device is powered by a MediaTek 6020 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Boult Mirage Smartwatch

One of many newer smartwatches that can pass off for a conventional watch. Boult’s budget smartwatch is also lighter on the pocket than most fashion watches. One of the talking points for this wearable is it’s vibrant, 1.39-inch HD (360 x 360 pixels) display. It’s IP67-certified, it’s ready for a run through a heavy drizzle. In terms of wellness features, you get a built-in heart rate monitor, blood oxygen monitor and a sleep tracker. The Mirage smartwatch offers 120 sports modes to track an assortment of workouts and comes with multiple strap options.
