The new EMPOWER RSO invites students to a basketball tournament from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, at the HPER courts 1-2 on campus! The goal of this fun event is for you to get to know more about the EMPOWER program here on campus and what its purpose is. Students have the option to play in the tournament alongside the EMPOWER students and mentors, or watch from the sidelines! Lunch will be provided, and it is a chance to get some community service hours on campus.

EMPOWER is a four-year non-degree-seeking program for students with cognitive disabilities. It is truly such an amazing and rewarding program, and we would love for students to come play some basketball, meet the EMPOWER students and current mentors, and learn about ways to get involved!

This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students who pay the student activities fee. This event is held in a venue that meets ADA standards. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend this event.
