Elizabeth Olsen talked about Daniel Craig’s plan to show up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as Balder the Brave.

She told fans about the news in a recent podcast, the first time someone from the main group had said it was true.

When asked how it was working with John Krasinski in the movie on Josh Horowitz’s Happy, Sad, Confused show, the actress said she never actually worked with him.

The host then asked if she knew that Balder the Brave, played by Daniel Craig, was in the movie.

“Yes, that’s what I thought was going to happen too. I saw the art. They made a costume. They had a design.”

In the comics, Balder the Brave is Thor’s half-brother. In 1962, the character was presented as the Asgardian God of Light. He helped Thor fight many enemies.

If Daniel Craig had played the part, it would have marked his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
