Jungkook of BTS, who performed choreography in the new video for his song Standing Next to You, has been compared to Michael Jackson, the King of Pop.

Jungkook’s album Golden has enthralled fans, particularly for a collaboration with Major Lazer. It apparently sold over two million copies in the first 24 hours.

Standing Next to You’s original music video was published on November 3 and has received over 23 million views on YouTube in less than a week.

Jungkook is shown twirling on the dancefloor in the video, demonstrating that he is a good dancer as well as a vocalist. Michael Jackson’s legendary crotch-grabbing, hip-thrusting act was done by the artist.

Fans rushed to Twitter/X to declare him JUNGKOOK JACKSON. Many people grabbed screenshots or uploaded short video of the performance, with one remarking, “jungkook Jackson did it again u guys my soul nearly left my body.”

“Those moves,” said another. Jackson, JungKook. JungKookie, I am so proud of you.”
