ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Navy men’s tennis team will close the fall season by playing host to the Navy Invitational Thursday through Sunday in Annapolis.

The Field
Players from Navy, Binghamton, Georgetown, Long Island, Niagara, Richmond and Temple will compete in the tournament.  Singles players and doubles teams will be placed into four player / team flights and play round-robin matches within that draw.

Navy Fall Updates
J.J. Etterbeek leads Navy with eight singles wins (8-1) this fall.  Matthew McNair (7-1) and Herrick Legaspi (7-2) rank second on the team in singles victories.

The doubles pairing of Graydon Buckingham and Eric Liu has paced the team this fall with a 5-1 record.  That tandem has recorded one more win than the team of Jason Kim and Steve Nguyen (4-4).

Among individuals, Liu has won a team-best six doubles matches (6-2) this fall to better the five-win trio of Buckingham (5-1), Tommy Kim (5-2) and Legaspi (5-3).
