Syracuse, N.Y. ― Syracuse basketball player Benny Williams remains suspended, according to a university spokesperson, making it unlikely that he will play in the Orange’s game tonight against Canisius.
Williams, a 6-foot-9 forward, was suspended by SU coach Adrian Autry prior to the team’s second preseason exhibition against the College of Saint Rose on Nov. 1. He missed that game and remained suspended for the Orange’s regular season opener on Monday against New Hampshire.
