Jennifer Aniston Was the First Person to Come at the Funeral of ‘Friends’ Co-Star Matthew Perry

Jennifer Aniston was said to be among the first to attend for Matthew Perry’s funeral last week.

Page Six stated that Aniston, 54, appeared with her body guards at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills neighborhood on Friday – six days after Perry’s shocking and untimely death at the age of 54.

She then met up with the rest of her Friends co-stars outside the venue, including Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and David Schwimmer, so they could go in together, as captured by many aerial paparazzi photographs. Matt LeBlanc, who was not photographed, later joined the group.

According to the Daily Mail, Aniston “kept herself to herself” throughout the “high profile” hour-long meeting as her longtime colleagues paid tribute to their late buddy.

According to Page Six, the We’re the Millers actor has been “struggling most acutely” among the cast members since Perry’s death, with her father’s one-year death anniversary approaching.

Aniston apparently had a tight relationship with the late The Whole Nine Yards star, with Perry thanking her for reaching out “the most” throughout his substance misuse difficulties.

She even broke down in tears during a 2004 interview with Diane Sawyer regarding Perry’s troubles, saying, “He struggled and we didn’t know. We weren’t equipped to deal with it. Nobody had ever dealt with that.”
