A boy was hit by a car in front of Hillcrest Intermediate School in North Huntingdon Friday morning.
He was taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh by North Huntingdon EMS, director Shane Spielvogle said.
Spielvogle said no one else was injured at the scene.
North Huntingdon police are investigating the incident.
Neither Westmoreland 911 dispatchers nor North Huntingdon EMS could confirm the age or condition of the boy.
Hillcrest Intermediate School is a fifth- and sixth-grade building in Norwin School District, attended by 840 students, according to a district website.
