Gardner-Webb Men’s Tennis Signs Alexandre Bergeron – Gardner-Webb University Athletics


BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Gardner-Webb University men’s tennis Head Coach Mike Griffith has announced the NLI signing of Alexandre Bergeron. He will join the Runnin’ Bulldogs in August 2024.
 
“Alexandre is a player who will not miss.”, said coach Griffith. “He makes every ball and a good mover around the court.  He is well liked by our players and will fit in very easily with our team.”
 
A left-handed player from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Bergeron shares the same hometown as pair of current Runnin’ Bulldogs, Numa Lemieux-Monette and Alex Lepine.
 
His mother Cristina, played collegiate tennis at the University of California, Los Angeles and was a professional tennis player.
