MU Health Care finished the first quarter of fiscal year 2024 with a $10.6 million gain in operating funds, an indicator that the organization’s finances continue to improve after experiencing a cash shortfall last year. 

However, the $10.6 million was $5 million less than MU Health Care had budgeted for the fiscal year.
