This week’s well-worn “comedian + destination = mildly entertaining travelogue” formula comes in the form of Bill Bailey in Western Australia. Still, he is undeniably an affable guide, starting his four-part journey in the south-west – from partaking in a beach smoking ceremony in Esperance to walking through the Valley of the Giants, and sharing a pint, a yarn and the stage with a group of shantymen in Albany. It’s the third and final episode of Jimmy McGovern’s women’s prison drama and, remarkably, not all hope is lost – even if Orla has just been told that, without a home to return to, they’re giving her a tent to live in on release. A muscular cold case/conspiracy thriller, smartly directed and thoughtfully written, concludes with an episode full of heavy consequences. Estranged cop couple Chris (Kevin McKidd) and Michelle (Vinette Robinson) join forces just in time to see everyone’s dark secrets finally flood out. Jack Seale
