Projected Lineup: Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, Kevon Looney
Statuses should be monitored for Warriors vets on the second leg of a back-to-back set, but only Curry logged more than 30 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday. Green played just 18 minutes in the contest. He was ejected in the third quarter after being assessed a second technical foul. Gary Payton II played a season-low 11 minutes in the game, ceding minutes to Brandon Podziemski. It may have been matchup-based, however, as Payton II logged 12 minutes in the first game against Cleveland last week.

He’s a favorite to get the start after the team converted him to a standard contract on Saturday. He also started six games for the team last season. Jamaree Bouyea was signed to a two-way contract to shore up guard depth as well.

Coach Ham called the lineup change a “realignment.” Ham told Austin Reaves that his minutes wouldn’t go down and that he would finish games. In the last contest, the starting lineup logged a 125.0 offensive rating in 11 minutes together. Reaves logged 35 minutes off the bench and played the entire fourth quarter. If James can’t go, it’s possible they could start Rui Hachimura and keep Reaves off the bench in his new role. Russell has logged a +8.74% usage rate differential in minutes without James on the floor this season, while Reaves’ usage rate differential without James on the court is +5.51%.
