Chris Martin of Coldplay Impresses Fans with an Environmentally Conscientious Gesture

Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay, surprised people when he took the train to the band’s much-anticipated stadium show in Cardiff on Tuesday.

The 46-year-old singer-songwriter is known for caring about the environment, so he chose a more environmentally friendly way to travel. His fellow passengers were shocked when he got off the train at the Welsh capital’s stop.

For those who don’t know, Coldplay will play two sold-out shows at the Principality Stadium, right next to the train stop.

So, Martin’s choice to take the train fits in with the band’s efforts to cut down on carbon emissions while on tour.

Their “eco-friendly” shows are especially interesting because they use new ideas like a dance floor that turns on when fans move on it and pedal power at the venues.

Coldplay recently made an important announcement: they had cut their carbon footprint by an amazing 47 percent.

Coldplay’s tour of the UK and Europe for 2023, which began in May and is still going on, has already sold an incredible 1.4 million seats.
