NORFOLK, Va. – A top-15 ranked opponent awaits the Old Dominion men’s basketball team on Monday night as the Monarchs tangle with 14th-ranked Arkansas at 8 p.m. EST at Bud Walton Arena.
 
The game will be streamed on SEC Network+, while you can listen to Matt Hatfield and Dennis Wolff on Priority Auto Sports 94.1 FM starting at 8 p.m EST.
 
Old Dominion (1-1) comes in off a 73-68 loss at Ball State on Saturday in the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. Chaunce Jenkins paced the Monarchs with 20 points, while Vasean Allette added 15 and Tyrone Williams chipped in with 11 points and a game-high 10 rebounds. ODU hit 50.9% from the field and out-rebounded Ball State 34-33, but saw the Cardinals hit enough free throws in the final minute to take the win.
 
Arkansas (2-0) defeated Gardner-Webb 86-68 on Friday night in its last contest. Khalif Battle leads four in double figures averaging 21 points per game coming off the bench. Tramon Mark is averaging 15 points and 2.5 assists per game, Trevon Brazile is chipping in 11.5 points and a team-high 6.5 rebounds per game and El Ellis is throwing in 10.5 points per game. The Razorbacks are averaging 89.5 points per game this season and allowing 63.5.
 
This will be the first-ever meeting between the Monarchs and Razorbacks.

After Monday night, the Monarchs will be off until November 22 when Princeton visits Chartway Arena for a 4 p.m. tip on Thanksgiving Eve.
