Ryan Reynolds was spotted in character on Coney Island on Friday while filming sequences for the upcoming fantasy comedy, Imaginary Friends.

After the official end of the SAG-AFTRA strike on Thursday, the 47-year-old Deadpool star, who recently strolled hand in hand with his wife Blake Lively in NYC, was seen on the beachfront shooting footage for the film.

The 118-day strike has considerably slowed Hollywood productions until the union negotiated a ‘tentative agreement’ with the studios on Wednesday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The father of four wore a white and black polka dot shirt that was neatly tucked into high-waisted black pants.

He accessorized with suspenders draped across his shoulders and black and white dress shoes. Reynolds covered his outfit with a zipped black jacket to counteract the chilly October temps.

Ryan was last seen filming sequences for the next film in November of last year in Brooklyn.

The film was written and directed by Office alum John Krasinski, who also plays a role in the fantasy picture, which is set to enter theaters next year on May 17, 2024.

Along with Reynolds and Fleming, the film’s ensemble cast features Steve Carrell, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Vince Vaughn, Maya Rudolph, and Awkwafina.
