Singer Lana Del Rey Has Decided to Quit Her Social Media Accounts

Lana Del Rey, whose real name is Lizzy Grant, has announced on her personal Instagram account that she plans to leave social media for good.

The 37-year-old artist, who was nominated for a Grammy, shared the news in an Instagram Story, which fans who had asked to see her account could see. The account, which was called “honeymoon,” was Del Rey’s online diary.

Del Rey often shared intimate selfies and photos of herself, and she also used Instagram Live to talk with her fans.

Along with a picture of the famous singer with a butterfly on her nose, the goodbye message thanked her fans, talked about her father Rob’s new album Lost at Sea, and said that she would be closing her account.

She wrote, “Thank you so much for everything,” on Instagram. “Now that Rob’s record is out and now you know where I’m touring this account is closing. Good luck, and love u.”

Del Rey had gotten into trouble and gotten negative feedback on social media before. In 2021, she took a break after wearing a mesh mask to a book signing during the Covid-19 pandemic and sharing negative things about her industry peers.
