Mini golf, beer pong and live entertainment? We’re there.
Puttshack, a new-to-Nashville entertainment mega venue, is set to open its doors to the public on Friday, Nov. 24. The 28,000 square foot facility features four different 9-hole miniature golf courses with automatic scoring, a live music stage and DJ booth, two full-service bars and additional games.
The company also operates locations in Chicago, Atlanta and Miami.
“Nashville’s Gulch neighborhood is the perfect backdrop for Puttshack’s unique blend of technology, entertainment, and delicious cuisine.” said Puttshack CFO Logan Powell in a news release about the opening date. “We can’t wait to share the Puttshack experience with the people of Music City.”
The miniature golf at Puttshack uses trackable golf balls that score themselves, kind of like an automatic-scoring bowling alley. While this makes it impossible to cheat on the scorecard, no math is necessary. Other games will include life-size beer pong, air hockey, roulette and Connect Four.
From the bar, guests can enjoy specialty cocktails — including a frozen Bushwacker — as well as bar snacks and shareables. The venue also welcomes private groups and parties in private and semi-private spaces available for booking.
The venue is located at 138 12th Ave. N, the site of the old Gibson Guitar factory. It will be open to the public Sunday-Wednesday, 11 a.m.-12 a.m., and Thursday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-1 a.m. Kids are welcome until 8 p.m. when it becomes 21 and up.
