Scooter Braun Looks to the K-Pop Industry to Restore His Company Amid a Customer Exodus

Scooter Braun is getting ready to launch a group of new stars after losing a lot of clients in the last few weeks.

Daily Mail says that the talent manager has joined hands with David Geffen’s billion-dollar record label Geffen Records to launch the next “global girl group.” The unique group will be put together with the goal of becoming the next big thing in the music world.

When HYBE and Geffen Records announced their joint project, HYBE x Geffen Global Girl Group Audition, in November 2021, tryouts for the project had already started. Out of more than 120,000 applications, 20 lucky women have been chosen.

Braun recently became the only CEO of its American business, HYBE, which is headed by Bang Si-Hyuk. John Janick, who is the CEO of Interscope Geffen A&M and the chairman of HYPE, is in charge of the project.

The news is out After 10 years of working together, Ariana Grande fired Braun as his boss. Demi Lovato, J Balvin, and Idina Menzel also left his management, which was also made public.

But it was also said that Grande had signed a five-year deal with HYBE just one month before.

People Magazine also said that Justin Bieber is getting ready to fire his longtime boss Braun. This is the first time in 16 years that Bieber has made music without Braun by his side.
