Dustin Davis recalls getting bit by the arts bug in the fourth grade after being cast in a production of Barbara Robinson’s “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.”

“I had one line; and I still remember that line to this day: ‘I’ve got to go to the bathroom,’ ” Davis, 41, said with a laugh.
