FALMOUTH (WGME) — The Maine CDC has identified a case of hepatitis A in a Falmouth food service worker and is encouraging anyone who may have been exposed to reach out to a health care provider.
The Maine CDC says the person worked during their infectious period at The Dockside Grill on Foreside Road from October 23-25 and November 6-8.
If you dined in or ordered take out, you could be at risk of infection.
You can avoid getting sick by getting a vaccine within 14 days of exposure.
If you are already vaccinated, you are protected.
The Maine CDC says symptoms begin to show 15 to 50 days after exposure to the virus.
