While there are many historical pieces to the West Virginia puzzle that can be found within the confines of Logan County, most Loganites sometimes tend to take certain sites for granted and too many young people are never made to realize what “gems” are locally available for them to appreciate.

Among the many interesting local people who have come and gone on to some sort of stardom or other notoriety are the likes of such recognizable names as Landau Eugene Murphy, the most recent local guy who now is almost a worldwide name, and a person likely identifiable by the younger generation.
